The Emmental region encompasses the catchment areas of the Emme and Ilfis rivers, from Hohgant to Burgdorf, as well as the Lower Emmental from Burgdorf to the Solothurn cantonal border. With its hilly landscape and many beautiful farmhouses, it is always worth a visit.
