Säntis the Mountain, one of my most beautiful photographic experiences with my colleague Daniel Rohr, was a night on Säntis. I have never seen so many mountains from one place. Since it was a full moon, we were able to photograph almost the entire night.

At 2501.9 m above sea level, Säntis is the highest mountain in the Alpstein. Due to the Alpstein’s exposed position to the north, the mountain is a landmark visible from far away.
